The 2010 United States Census reported that Belvedere had a population of 2,068. It was incorporated on Dec 21st 1896. Over 75% are over 35 years old and married with children. The Reed Union School District is rated in the top 1% of schools in California. Classes average about 22 pupils with just over 1,000 students enrolled. The 3 schools are located in nearby Tiburon, with High School students attending in the Tamalpais High School District.
